What is Interesting There?

First of all, the foods are cooked in the vacuum cooking and the slow cooking method (cooked under low temperatures with long time, up to 8 hours). That way, products preserve natural flavors, textures and nutrients.

Secondly, they use local and seasonal ingredients. Therefore, the menu is changed quite often and the menu born from 3 Chefs is unique and sometimes beyond your expectations. Each chef has his taste, hence be excited to check which chef of three is standing in the kitchen.

Last of all, the chef brings foods to you directly from the kitchen, and explain the dish, ingredients or even have some chats with you. But if the restaurant is too busy and they are not capable for it, the waitress is happy to do it instead.

The Location and Decor

The restaurant is located at Jacob’s Barracks in Old Riga, and it allows you to enjoy the views of Old Riga through the large windows.

The interior is modern and bright, and the warm colors are used everywhere. Hence, you can feel at home and focus on your foods.

There is the open kitchen in the center of restaurant consisted of 2 floors. From the seat at the counter, you can see how the chef prepares the foods in a magical way. And the chef  is willing to chat about taste varieties, products and whatever you are interested in.

The staff sometimes jokes, humming even does pranks. These make 3 Pavāru Restorāns the cozy place fulled with a lot of smiles.

The Amazing Start of The Meal

The meal will start with home made breads. How they present this is amazing.

The waitress sprinkles home made sauces on the paper table cloth. At this moment, the table cloth turns to drawing paper and the sauces turn to colorful paintings. This is exactly an art!

The sauces are all home made and varieties of raspberry, pesto, hemp, sea buckthorn, humus and cress…

Needless to say, they are tasty and to dip the bread into the sauce on the table will be a fun experience.

The Menu Changes Everyday

Their menu seems limited but it is often changed based on the chef’s choice and seasonal best ingredients.

Some menu which may interest you are the deer soup and Ostrich tartare.  The deer soup has dried deer and goat cheese in it and cumin works very well as a foil. Ostrich tartare is served with duck egg, pickled onion, lingonberry beer, which are fabulous.

Tuna steak, the lamb are often shown on the menu and popular ones.

On the dessert menu, you will find the onion cake. Surprisingly, it has fermented garlic in the cake! However, the black sesame put all together and make it a dessert perfectly.

Brunch on Sundays

They open for Brunch only on Sundays,12:00-16:00.

During brunch, the chef cooks just in front of you, and you can enjoy their food show using the dry nitrogen.

The buffet style brunch is open to both children and adults, and let you spend nice luxury afternoon on Sunday.
