However, what Paris has is not ended up only those. So here to show you another aspect of Paris and change your taste a little bit, I would recommend you the Thai and Cambodian restaurant, Basilic & Spice.

Once you step into the restaurant, the Asian tour will start.

There are Buddhist trinkets, wooden masks, photos of monks and some statue of animals, which express the culture of Thailand.

The dim purple lights and the dark interior make the place exotic, and orchids add the final touches.

This is how your Asian tour starts. And the friendly staff created cozy atmosphere and this place is chose for both business lunch and family dinner alike.

The Reason They are Good

The dishes there are mostly from Thailand and some are from Cambodia.

The chef there were headhunted from other Michelin-stared restaurant by the owner couple. This is why the foods there are great and well presented. They are slightly pricey, however considering the quality, nothing is surprising.

The wine list is not a lot, but all are carefully selected by owner, that way all are great. Some are crazily expensive, but they are worth looking.

The Recommended Menus

Their menu is limited and each is very dedicated.

For the starter, Coconut Milk Chicken Soup is recommended. The fusion of spice and the sweetness of coconuts is exactly the Thai taste.

For the main, please try  the caremalised chicken. The spacey sauce for this is real and even people from Thailand admit it.

If you would like to try Khmer cuisine, the grilled sea bass will be a good choice.

All dishes are balanced with mix of spices and herbs, we can never represent this complex at home.

Basilic & Spice is easily hidden by other typical Paris stuffs. But if you would like to step forward, it will be a fun experience to make a visit to Basilic & Spice where Parisian enjoy Asian taste.
