The atmosphere at La Buvette des Bains is very casual and informal and it’s located on a pier over Lake Geneva.
All table are outside and are long. You will share the table with others, so it will get a bit noisy but kind of fun at the same time.
With having meals, you can view the beautiful Alps as well as the lake. In summer time, the breeze from the lake is very cozy and the sunshine reflecting on the lake is amazing. In the winter season, it is a bit cold but they serve wooden stoves and tents keep customers warm.
It is totally different from other restaurants in Geneva and will be absolutely new and fun experience!
The Relaxing Lunch Time
La Buvette des Bains is a nice place for lunch after having enjoyed swimming or some relax time besides the lake.
They have some salads, seafoods and meats. And Today’s special is also what you should check. The fresh juice is recommended on a hot sunny day as well.
All those menus are under 15CHF in spite of the large portion. You can barely find a place as affordable as this in Geneva.
The smell of the lake, the birds singing, people laughing, it is a perfectly relaxing lunch time.
The Best Cheese Fundo

Only during the winter season(September to April) for dinner time, they serve Cheese Fundo at 23CHF. The basic one includes breads and fruits, and you can get a plate of dried meat, pickles and small onions for 14CHF.
Usually fondue is made with white wine but La Buvette des Bains uses Crémant (Sparkling wine) instead. This makes Cheese Fundo more delicate and light.
When you almost finish the Fundo, please have a look on the bottom of the pot. There is burnt cheese left and it is delicious!
