First of all, let me answer your question, “How can we pronunciate Wurstküche?”

The answer is  “Verst-Koo-Shah” and which means “sausage kitchen.”

Although their sausage got some hints from German, it is not a simply German restaurant. Their menus are worldwide and any countries which eat meat are where their unique ideas come from.

This is how they can be both classic and exotic.

Now they have location in Venice Beach, California as well and offers unique experience more and more people.

The Vibe

The place is very casual and a bit secretive spot. There are long community tables and is accommodate big groups.

It is elbow to elbow, hence you might feel packed a bit especially night time around 7 pm. But there, you can enjoy nice conversations without caring about others too much and it is the perfect place to hang out with your friends.

On Sundays, you can enjoy live-DJ. It will be like a club and you will have great time there.

Various and Unique Sausages

Their sausages are divided into 3 categories, Classic, Gourmet and Exotic.

If it is your first visit, I recommend you try most simple ones, Bratwurst (heritage pork, coriander & nutmeg) or Bockwurst (veal, pork & spices).

From Gourmet ones, Mango Jalapeño (chicken & turkey) or Chicken Apple & Spices (apple & specks of cinnamon, pork free) are for everyone.

Rather than those, what I would like to highlight the most is Rattlesnake & Rabbit. It seems wired but is very flavorful and great. Proving that, you can find a lot of positive reviews about it on yelp.

You may opt for Toppings and Mustards from Caramelized Onions, Sauerkraut, Sweet Peppers, Spicy Peppers, Whole Grain, Dijon, Spicy Brown, Honey Mustard, American Yellow. Please make your own hotdog as you like.

Belgian Fries

When you come to Wurstkuche, please do not finish only with sausages. They also have Belgian fries and this thick cut fries are great as well.

You may pot for your dipping from Bleu Cheese Walnut & Bacon, Buttermilk Ranch, Chipotle Aioli Chipotle Ketchup, Thai Peanut, Curry Ketchup, Pesto Mayo, Sundried Tomato Mayo, Sweet & Sassy BBQ and Tzatziki.

If you can not decide, Bleu Cheese Walnut & Bacon or  Sundried Tomato Mayo are recommended.

Additional Tips
